Update December 2, 2006

Taylor had a good day today. She sat up in her chair for another two hours. She is not a big fan of the neck brace that she has to wear when she sits in her chair, but she is brave and did very well.

Taylor got a big treat today. She passed a couple swallow tests so she is now able to eat soft foods. Her first food today was apple sauce. She is now able to eat ice cream, milk shakes, smoothies, etc. She was craving pizza today, but until they make puree pizza she's going to have to stick to apple sauce (at least for a while).

What awesome progress you are making! I do have to say apple sauce is yummy! Keep up the good work and I bet when the doctors say you can have pizza, your mommy will get you your favorite kind!

Tammy: As I told your Dad, if you need anything please do not hesitate to ask!!

Hi Taylor!

We are so happy for you that you got to eat some applesauce! YAY! We are very proud of you and your progress. I wrote a couple of days ago to tell you that my little girl is in Mrs. Shockley's class and that she was thinking of you. She is still asking about you. But I forgot to tell you that I am in a club at Chico State College. It is a Sociology club. That's a silly name, hugh? My club wants to do something really special for you. Please let us know if there is anything you would like and we will work really hard to get it for you!
I have talked about you in every one of my classes and to all my teachers. They are all praying that you get better really soon!
What is your favorite smoothie? I love smoothies. We send you a humungous hug! Love Summer and the Chico State Sociology Club

Good morning Taylor. It's so great that you are doing so much better. I bet you really like the apple sauce. It's not pizza, but it's a start. And ice cream, what can I say, ice cream is probably on every kids wish list everyday. I love it too.
I am still praying for you everyday little girl. I have alot of faith that you are going to be ok. So hang in there and be as brave as you can.
I will write back soon. Have a good day and sleep tight with the angels tonight.
You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
