Update December 12, 2006

We woud like to thank everyone who came to the Carnitas Fundraiser at the Woodland Elks Club. A special thank you to Ginny Monroe and Bob Frommelt for organizing the event. Approximately 500 people came out to show their support and get together with family & friends. We were entertained by the Davis High School Madrigals, who sounded great. It was great to spend time with friends.

During the Carnitas Fundraiser, Taylor and her Aunt Melissa decorated Taylor's room for Christmas. They even put up Christmas lights.

REMINDER: Thursday night is the Round Table Fundraiser to benefit the Taylor Parker Hope Fund. If you're in the mood for pizza, order take-out or visit any of three Chico Round Tables.

If you are interested in receiving a "Hope for Taylor" button, please send an e-mail to tayparker@gmail.com with your address. Button donations have been around $5, but are not required.

Taylor continues to be very vocal. She's been eating hospital meals in addition to being fed through her feeding tube. It hasn't been ideal weather for taking trips outside, but Taylor continues to get up in her chair daily.

Hi Taylor, wanted you to know that last night we ate Round Table Pizza for your fund-raiser. My mommy and daddy told me I had to eat pepperoni pizza for you and if i didn't, I would have no dessert and be hungry. I do not like pepperoni pizza. But I actually ate it and liked it, even though the entire city of Chico was eating it and it was 45 minutes late, cold and they did not deliver the correct order :-) But it didn't matter, it was for you. My daddy said he would have waited until midnight for cold soggy pizza to support you! When I said grace last night I said an extra prayer for you and your family. I ask my mommy to look up you website everyday so we can read the updates. Wanted you to know that thousands of people were eating yesterday for you and your family and it was FANTASTIC! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

XOXO Bailey Floyd

Hi Taylor,
We had a fun time visiting you on Wednesday. Your room is so pretty!! I had a great time hiding Walter with you. I can't wait to get a pig. I will get it when you come home so he is small. They get big fast. I am so excited that when we visit you next we get to bring Bell. I told her she gets to come see you when we got home and she was all excited and ran around the house. Thanks again for the movie, I will give it to Nana to bring to you next week. Keep up the great work. We are very proud of you and can't wait to come see you again.
