Taylor has really enjoyed seeing a lot of her friends before the holidays. She has been making Christmas ornaments with Diana and Courtney from Family Life. We have a tenative date for surgery. Jan. 5th is the last we have heard. Surgery will probably take place at UCD and then we will be headed to Shriners for a few months. Taylor is starting to get into her chair 3 times a day. Tammy was able to pick Taylor up and have Taylor sit in her lap for awhile. Tammy said that was the best feeling she has had in a long time. Taylor is learning to talk over the Tracheotomy that is in her throat right now which makes comunicating a lot easier. They will not change the Tracheotomy she has now until the surgery on the 5th of Jan. Everyone is so thankful for the continued support and we wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Please continue to hold Taylor in your prayers; this is where her greatest healing possibility begins!!

Hi,
There is a lot going on in the area of spinal cord research these days. Although things must seem very hard right now, a lot of people are working to find better treatments and rehab strategies. Small advances are being made all the time and eventually they will add up. Keep your spirits high and know that many people are wishing for your recovery!

Merry Christmas Taylor!

All of us hope you are having a good Christmas! So many people are thinking of you and saying special prayers for you today! It was very nice to talk to you on the phone the other day - I told Lauren and Paige and they both can't wait to see you very soon. Paige wants you to know she has "presents to make you feel better" and we all hope you have a special day with your family. Don't forget how strong and brave you are, and you will keep getting better.

Tammy,

So happy to hear you got to hold Taylor - there's no better present than that! We think of you all the time and look forward to a visit after the surgery. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Love,
Jen, Scott, Lauren & Paige

Hi Taylor,
Wow, you have so many people pulling for you. This Christmas has been unique for me as I know it has been for you and your famliy. As I got to thinking I realized how blessed of a little girl you are.

I know that you may not think that right now, but many people wait much of their life to find out who their real friends are.

I read these entries and I see how loved you are. I see the amount of support and prayers you receive. Trust me Taylor, you are blessed!

I am planning on coming to see you soon. Until then, you just continue to prove the doctors wrong...ok? May God continue to bless you and your family.

Always your friend,
Russ

Dearest Taylor,
Good morning little princess. I
hope that you had a good nights
sleep. Yesterday was probably busy
for you with it being Christmas.
We will soon be onto a new year
and I hope it will be a changing
year for you. I pray every single
day for you to continue on with
your recovery. I ask the angels to
always watch over you. I know that
you must be so scared and no one
knows what the outcome will be, but
I have lots of faith that you will
be ok. You are such a strong little
girl, so keep being brave. Faith,
hope and the belief that miracles
do happen is what will get you and
your family through this.

We still haven't met eachother, but
I hope to get to come see you soon.
Maybe I can come with your friend
Travis and his Mommy, Kim.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
So be strong and keep up the hard
work.

See you soon,
Judy B. (Travis's grandma)
